Live in Austin: Steven Curtis Chapman + Big Daddy Weave

You and your family are invited to join us on April 16 at 6pm at the LifeAustin Amphitheatre for a special concert presented by Altrua Healthshare, featuring Steven Curtis Chapman and Big Daddy Weave!

Steven Curtis Chapman is an American contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, author, and social activist. Chapman began his career in the late 1980s as a songwriter and performer of contemporary Christian music and has since been recognized as the most awarded artist in Christian music, releasing over 25 albums. He has also won five Grammy awards and 59 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, more than any other artist in history. His seven “Artist of the Year” Dove Awards are also an industry record. As of 2014, Chapman has sold more than 10 million albums and has 10 RIAA-certified Gold or Platinum albums.

A contemporary Christian rock band, Big Daddy Weave formed in 1998 in Mobile, Alabama, where the band members, Mike Weaver (guitar, lead vocals), Jay Weaver (bass, vocals), Jeremy Redmon (guitar, vocals), Jeff Jones (drums), and Joe Shirk (saxophone, keyboards) were all attending school. Led by Mike Weaver‘s strong lead vocals and songwriting skills, the band grew into a successful recording and touring act, and has released several albums, including Neighborhoods (independently released in 2001). The rest were released by Fervent and included One and Only (2002), Every Time I Breathe (2006), and The Ultimate Collection (a compilation of previously released key tracks that appeared in 2011), among others. The band returned in 2015 with Beautiful Offerings, their seventh studio album.

Be sure to purchase your tickets today before they sell out! Doors open at 6:00pm and the concert begins at 7:00pm.
