Love Your Neighbor
As you know, we have not seen the impact of fear like this in our lifetime. We want to be a church that brings hope and faith to the people around us. We all share the same heart to serve and love our city and we are working on ways to make that happen!
As much as we want to get into the streets right now, the leaders of our city are asking us not to. So if we can’t rally all together in one place, how do we serve our city? We’ve decided to launch a “Love Your Neighbor” action plan for our church family.
As it says in Matthew 22:37-39 “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”
We have put together a plan for you with a daily declaration of hope and scripture to encourage you. We will be posting daily updates with “how to serve your neighbor” on our Facebook and Instagram accounts. We encourage you to knock on your neighbor’s door who lives to the right and left of you to help serve them. We believe that this could have a greater impact on serving our city than ever before!
3 Ways You Can Be A Part:
I CAN SERVE
If you are able to help us assemble food for hungry kids and serve the elderly, click the button at the top of the pages to find out how you can be a part!
I CAN GIVE
If you would like to contribute towards our efforts in serving people in need, click the button at the top of the page, select your campus, and give toward the campaign called “Love Your Neighbor.”
I NEED HELP
If you are at high risk and have a need, click the button at the top of the page and let us know how we can help you.
As you start giving God’s love, we want to hear how your neighbors have been impacted by your acts of kindness. Email us your stories at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can celebrate with you.
I believe this can be one of the greatest moments for the local church to shine.
We are praying for you and are here for you if we can help.
Let’s give God’s love to our neighbors!
